Many
of our customers always ask, “When is the right time
to order wedding invitations?” To help make the dilemma
of ordering etiquette easier I have broken it down in a very easy
format.
6-8 Months Prior
Determine your preference or theme for your
wedding. You
want to choose something that reflects your personalities, an
experience or a reflection special to the two of you. Once
you scale down to the theme of your “wedding” whether
it is Doves, Hearts, Simply Elegance, Casual, Country or Fall,
the rest of the planning will flow effortlessly.
Firm up your guest list. This will help
you to get an accurate count of how many invitations you will
actually need to send out.
Collect important information such as times,
location(s), maps and directions, parking or accommodations
and other helpful bits of information important to your guests. It’s
a good idea to provide your guest with as much information
about your special day as possible. Especially if they are
coming from out of town.
Decide
on using Video, audio or wording. With today’s
Tech Savvy couples, you can now incorporate personal video in
to your wedding invitation thanks to Elegant
Invites. Not
only will you be able to offer important information, you will
be able to personally invite them.
3-5 Months Prior
Order your Interactive Wedding Invitation CD’s
so that you can have plenty of time to ensure that everything
is perfect and make any necessary changes.
Start addressing your outer envelopes and assembling
your information. Even
if you do a handful a night, it will not seem so endless.
6-8 Weeks Prior
Get an accurate amount of postage costs. Remember that
you will want to have the Post Office hand cancel the stamps
on your invitations. This ensures that they will not damage
the CD-ROM.
Mail out all invitations.
4-6 Weeks Prior
Have your standby guest lists on hand to start
mailing out if necessary. Invitations should not be
sent out less than four weeks before your wedding date.
Until next time…Relax, enjoy the moment
and enjoy your special day!

Wedding Bells Ring at Mercy Hospital of Buffalo (East Aurora Advertiser) When Carl Duerr of East Aurora was hospitalized for unexpected heart surgery four days before his daughter's wedding, there was little hope he would be able to participate in the wedding ceremony and reception that was to follow.
Thanks
so much for creating such a memorable invitation. All our friends enjoyed
it and we'll be able to appreciate it for years to come.
