and I wanted to surprise our parents by including photos of
them from their wedding day and photos of them today. We did
not tell them because we wanted it to be a surprise. Our parents
played such an important role in making our wedding day possible
that it was our way of including their love in our photo gallery.
My mother started crying and then shared the invitation CD
with all of her friends at work. We knew it would touch their
hearts and showed them how very much apart of our day they
really were.”

“The
best advice I can give is to make sure you don’t have
any background noises or music while filming your video. Mark
and I thought it would be cozy to play some romantic music
in the background. After viewing our video, we realized two
important things. The camera was too far away and the microphone
only picked up the music and drowned out our voices. Make sure
your home is quiet, adequately lit and do a couple of test
shots to make sure the camera is set just right. This will
really save you time and aggravation.”

kept the video to 90-seconds and talked about the key points
of our courtship. We both took turns talking since it was after
all about “our story.” This definitely was fun

some photos from our first date and the day we were engaged
